what kind of perfumes are good?
im 14yr old and i want to noe sum not expensive perfume to smell realli nice…not the ones u put on but don’t have an effect wen u walk past sum1…lol
i kinda want dat effect
Try Heiress by Paris Hilton. I got it for Christmas and it smells great. Like a warm floral scent. It is really feminine and classy. I also think PINK by Victoria Secret is pretty. You can also try Curve, there are I think 3 different varieties but I like Curve Crush, It reminds me of something a California girl would wear. Or try Curious by Britney Spears, it’s a cute smell.
You can buy Curious and Curve at WalMart. Heiress you can find at a mall .

$20 The first book of its kind: a definitive guide to the world of perfume. Luca Turin and Tania Sanchez are experts in the world of scent. Turin, a renowned scientist, and Sanchez, a longtime perfume critic, have spent years sniffing the world’s most elegant and beautiful—as well as some truly terrible—perfumes. In Perfumes: The Guide, they combine their talents and experience to review more than twelve hundred fragrances, separating the divine from the good from the monumentally awful. Through witty, irreverent, and illuminating prose, the reviews in Perfumes not only provide consumers with an essential guide to shopping for fragrance, but also make for a unique reading experience. Perfumes features introductions to women’s and men’s fragrances and an informative “frequently asked questions” section including:. • What is the difference between eau de toilette and perfume?. • How long can I keep perfume before it goes bad?. • What’s better: splash bottles or spray atomizers?. • What are perfumes made of?. • Should I change my fragrance each season?. Perfumes: The Guide is an authoritative, one-of-a-kind book that will do for fragrance what Robert Parker’s books have done for wine. Beautifully designed and elegantly illustrated, this book will be the perfect gift for collectors and anyone who’s ever had an interest in the fascinating subject of perfume. |

A History and Practical Guide to Perfumes and Cosmetics
$22.22 This fascinating and unique book traces the way in which we have adorned, perfumed and presented ourselves from the earliest prehistoric evidence right through tot eh dawn of the multi-million doallar cosmetics industry. Why did Egyptians wear so much make up? Were the Vikings really unwashed barbarians? How did the fashionable Elizabethan deal with bathing, lice and excessive facial hair? What happened underneath all that hairpowder and scented pomade in the eighteenth century? How did young women find out about the latest beauty products in the past? This fascinating and unique book traces the way in which we have adorned, perfumed and presented ourselves from the earliest prehistoric evidence right through to the dawn of the multi-million dollar cosmetics industry. We discover what the perfumes found in Tutankhamen's tomb would have smelt like, what made the medieval woman so synonymous with the lily and the rose, and where the most fashionable place was for a woman to buy perfume in the eighteenth century. In the sixteenth and seventeenth century the devil reputedly carried a looking glass, and the most expensive cosmetics could kill. A century later, Beau Brummel recommended the scent of freshly aired linen as an appropriate perfume for a gentleman, and Napoleon himself doused himself in quantities of cologne. This richly illustrated book also includes a wide selection of modernised recipes for those wishing to experience some of the cosmetics or perfumes used by our ancestors. |

Keeping his dying father company in the chamber of perfumes, Tan reflects upon the many divides—between Hinduism and Christianity, atheism and faith, traditional family mores and sexual liberty, and a society enveloped by castes and sympathies for the extreme left—that separate his two personal universes.br/div |
